Olonana is located
on the banks of the Mara river, in the northern edge of the
Masai Mara National Reserve, and adjacent to a Maasai village.
The lodge comprises 12 spacious and comfortable tents, complete
with two comfortable queen-size beds, en suite bathrooms with
showers, and large verandas that overlook the river (the spot
is home to a small hippo population).
Activities offered by the Lodge include
game drives, bush meals (meals can also be served al fresco,
perched on the Siria escarpment overlooking the Mara plains),
guided bush walks, birdwatching, and balloon safaris.
