Located outside the Masai Mara National Reserve, on the furthermost
eastern corner and near the Ololamutiek Gate, the Mara Sopa
is set in a hillside landscape of the Oloolamuita valley.
The
lodge houses 200 beds within 77 rooms, 12 suites and 1 Presidential
suite, all of which have en-suite bathrooms, mini-bars, and
a private, elevated veranda with splendid views across the
Oloolamuita valley. Décor is Maasai-style, atmosphere
rustic, and staff most friendly.
The
lodge counts a swimming pool, gift shop, and a baby-sitting
service. Balloon safaris, visits to Masai manyattas and walking
safaris can be arranged.
