Keekorok Lodge

Rates SingleUS$155 Double US$185

The first lodge ever to be built in the Masai Mara National Reserve (1965), the Keekorok Lodge has acquired over the years an almost legendary status. Located at the crossroads of the E176 (Keekorok-Oloololo Gate), C12 (Sekenani Gate-Sand River Gate), E177 (Keekorok-Talek Gate) and E301 (Keekorok-Ololamutiek Gate), it's rumoured that it occupies an old hunting camp where Ernest Hemigway used to camp during some of his hunting safaris.

Furthermore, being strategically located in the direct path of the migration, it offers the unmatchable experience, at the peak of the Great Migration, of being absolutely surrounded by a brimful crowd of herbivores.
The almost 100 rooms are simple yet comfortable and tasteful. The lodge features a swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Keekorok offers daily balloon safaris, as well as night and diurnal game drives. Moreover, it boasts a nearby hippo pool, with a raised walkway that overlooks it.
