Keep to the roads or well defined tracks
and do not drive over vegetation. Off road driving is an
offence severely penalised.
Keep a distance of 20 metres from
animals. Wait for your turn. Do not stay more than 10 minutes
or follow the animals when they move away.
Do not sound your horn, bang on your
car or startle the wildlife in any way.
Do not feed the animals or take part
in activities which could injure or alarm them.
Give animals the right of way and
respect the reserve speed limit: 50 kph.
Cheetah Alert: Cheetahs only hunt
during the day. They are very sensitive to noise and interference
from vehicles.
Do not collect or remove any animal
products, rocks, plants, seeds, or nests. Live animals,
insects, birds and reptiles must never be touched nor removed
from the reserve. Firewood collection is also prohibited.
Do not stand on the roof or hang
out of the windows. Stay in your vehicle and do not get
out during the game drive.
Keep all litter in the car until
you can dispose of it properly.
Do not throw away any burning objects:
a lit cigarette or match may lead to the death and suffering
of many animals.
Radios and CD players are forbidden.
Domestic animals are not allowed
in the reserve.
